Rituals of Hospitality – Ornamented trays of the 19th century in Greece and Turkey

Στo πλαίσια της έκθεσης Η Τέχνη της Φιλοξενίας – Ζωγραφισμένοι δίσκοι του 19ου αιώνα από την Ελλάδα και την Τουρκία, πραγματοποιήθηκαν αναλύσεις της τεχνικής και των υλικών κατασκευής μεταλλικών δίσκων. Το Εργαστήριο Συντήρησης Μεταλλικών Αντικειμένων ανέλαβε τη μελέτη και την ανάλυση των υλικών κατασκευής, μεταλλικών δίσκων του 19ου αιώνα, τα αποτελέσματα των οποίων δημοσιεύονται στο άρθρο του καταλόγου της έκθεσης:

Στο συνέδριο «Works of Art: Conservation Science Today» που διοργανώθηκε στη Θεσσαλονίκη από το Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης και την Ανώτατη Εκκλησιαστική Ακαδημία της Θεσσαλονίκης το Εργαστήριο Συντήρησης Ζωγραφικών Έργων σε συνεργασία με το ΕΚΕΦΕ Δημόκριτος παρουσίασαν την εξής ομιλία:

Συμμετοχή με ανακοίνωση τοίχου στο διεθνές συνέδριο του IIC που πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Κωνσταντινούπολη. Αφορά τις αναλύσεις που πραγματοποιήθηκαν σε υλικά ζωγραφικής που βρέθηκαν στο εργαστήριο του Ν.Χ. Γκίκα καθώς και σε δύο έργα του που ανήκουν στη συλλογή του Μουσείου Μπενάκη. Για τις αναλύσεις συνεργάστηκαν το Α.Τ.Ε.Ι. Αθήνας, το Ε.Κ.Ε.Φ.Ε Δημόκριτος και το Μουσείο Μπενάκη.
