Στην Ιερά Μονή Ταξιαρχών του Οσίου Λεοντίου Αιγιαλείας, πραγματοποιήθηκαν λήψεις σε τοιχογραφίες από τέσσερις ναΐσκους με υπέρυθρη κάμερα, τύπου WiDy-SWIR της niT, με αισθητήρα InGaAs και ευαισθησία στα 1700 nm και φακό Electrophysics TV lens 25mm 1:1,4. Επίσης χρησιμοποιήθηκε και μία Nikon D50 με δυνατότητα λήψης από τα 370 έως τα 900 nm με φακό Nikkor 18-70mm 1:3,5-4,5G ED. Στις χρωστικές που ανιχνεύθηκαν περιλαμβάνονται ένυδρα και άνυδρα οξείδια του σιδήρου, αζουρίτης, πρωσικό μπλε, κόκκινες λάκες, κιννάβαρη, κ.ά.
Infrared photography was applied in order to facilitate the identification of the pigments of the wall-paintings in the Holy Convent of Osios Leondios in Egialia. For this pupose a WiDy-SWIR, niT, infrared camera equipped with an InGaAs sensor up to 1700 nm was used mounted with an Elecrophysics TV 25mm 1:1,4 and a Nikkor 18-70 1:3,5-4,5G ED lens. Iron oxides, azurite, prussian blue, madder lake and cinnabar were the main pigments identified.
