Υιοθεσίες θέσεων

Η «Υιοθεσία Θέσεως» αποτελεί ένα καινοτόμο πρόγραμμα χορηγικής υποστήριξης του Μουσείου Μπενάκη. Δίνει τη δυνατότητα σε δωρητές να αναλάβουν τα έξοδα μιας Διοικητικής, Επιστημονικής ή άλλης θέσης σε ετήσια βάση. Ο κάθε δωρητής μπορεί να επιλέξει τον τομέα και δραστηριότητα του Μουσείου που θέλει να υποστηρίξει και να παρακολουθεί την προσφορά του να μετατρέπεται σε παραγωγικό έργο, βοηθώντας με ουσιαστικό τρόπο την απρόσκοπτη λειτουργία του Μουσείου. Σε αυτό το πλαίσιο πραγματοποιήθηκαν δύο υιοθεσίες θέσεων του Τμήματος Συντήρησης, της θέσης του Υπευθύνου του Τμήματος και μίας θέσης συντήρησης χαρτιού.

Βασίλης Πασχάλης. Υπεύθυνος Τμήματος Συντήρησης. Ο Βασίλης Πασχάλης είναι υπεύθυνος του Τμήματος Συντήρησης Έργων Τέχνης από το 2010. Εντάχθηκε στο δυναμικό του Μουσείου Μπενάκη το 1997. Σπούδασε συντήρηση έργων τέχνης και συνέχισε με σπουδές στις ανθρωπιστικές επιστήμες στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Κύπρου. Ειδικεύθηκε στη συντήρηση ελαιογραφιών στην Εθνική Πινακοθήκη – Μουσείο Αλεξάνδρου Σούτσου. Είναι υπεύθυνος για τη συμμετοχή του τμήματος σε ερευνητικά προγράμματα και έχει ασχοληθεί ειδικά με αναλύσεις ανόργανων χρωστικών ζωγραφικών έργων, έχοντας πολλές σχετικές δημοσιεύσεις. Επιβλέπει επίσης τις εργασίες κατασκευής του νέου παραρτήματος του Μουσείου Μπενάκη που είναι αφιερωμένο στα Παιχνίδια και την Παιδική Ηλικία.

Η θέση του Υπευθύνου του Τμήματος Συντήρησης καλύπτεται με την αναδοχή της κυρίας Μαρινέλλα Σαμούρκα.

Ελευθερία Γκούφα. Συντηρήτρια χαρτώου υλικού.  Η Ελευθερία Γκούφα εργάζεται στο Τμήμα Συντήρησης Έργων Τέχνης. Σπούδασε συντήρηση στο Istituto per l’Arte e il Restauro Palazzo Spinelli στη Φλωρεντία, με ειδίκευση στη συντήρηση ιστορικών βιβλιοδεσιών, χαρτιού και περγαμηνών. Συνέχισε τις σπουδές της στο Τμήμα Ανθρωπιστικών Σπουδών του Ελληνικού Ανοικτού Πανεπιστημίου με κατεύθυνση τον Ευρωπαϊκό Πολιτισμό, ενώ την περίοδο αυτή συνεχίζει τις μεταπτυχιακές της σπουδές στην Πολιτιστική Πολιτική και Ανάπτυξη. Έχει συνεργαστεί με πολλά ιδρύματα στην Ιταλία, όπως την Galleria degli Uffizi, το Palazzo Pitti, τα Musei Vaticani, τη Biblioteca Laurenziana, τη Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale, το Archivio di Stato της Φλωρεντίας και το Laboratorio di Restauro Gabinetto Vieusex. Το 1997 ξεκίνησε την συνεργασία της με το Διεπαρχειακό Κέντρο Συντήρησης (C.I.C.L) της Γαλλίας, όπου πραγματοποίησε συντηρήσεις έργων για την Εθνική Βιβλιοθήκη της Γαλλίας, τα Αρχεία της Προβηγκίας, το Πριγκιπάτο του Μονακό και το Άγιον Όρος. Στο δυναμικό του Μουσείου Μπενάκη εντάχθηκε το 1999, ενώ το 2001 ανέλαβε υπεύθυνη του εργαστηρίου συντήρησης των Ιστορικών Αρχείων όπου και παρέμεινε μέχρι το 2010. Στη συνέχεια ασχολήθηκε με τη συντήρηση χαρτώου υλικού, την προετοιμασία και την παρουσίαση του σε εκθέσεις, καθώς και με τη συνοδεία αντικειμένων στο εξωτερικό.

Η θέση της συντηρήτριας χαρτώου υλικού καλύπτεται με την αναδοχή της κυρίας Lisa Sardegna και του κυρίου David Carillo.

Adoptions

The program of “Adoption” is an innovative sponsoring opportunity of the Benaki Museum. It enables donors to cover the costs of a Curatorial, Managerial or other positions on an annual basis. Each donor can select the department and activity of the Museum that wishes to support and see the contribution transforming into results, supporting the operation of the Museum. There are two adoptions in Conservation Department, the position of the Head of the Department and a position in paper conservation.

Vassilis Paschalis: Head of the Conservation Department. Vassilis Paschalis is the Head of the Benaki Museum Conservation Department since 2010. He joined the Benaki Museum in 1997. He holds a degree in conservation of antiquities and works of art and furthered his studies in Humanities at the University of Cyprus. He trained in easel paintings conservation in the National Gallery -Alexander Soutzos Museum. He is responsible for the participation of the department in various research programs and specializes in the analysis of inorganic pigments and the study of their use in paintings, having published extensive relevant work. He also supervises the progression of construction works at the new Benaki Museum Annex dedicated to Toys and Childhood.

The position of the Head of the Conservation Department is covered with the adoption of Mrs. Marinella Samourka.

Eleftheria Gkoufa. Paper conservator. Eleftheria Gkoufa works in the Conservation department. She studied conservation in Florence, at the Istituto per l’Arte e il Restauro Palazzo Spinelli, and specialized in the conservation of historical bindings, paper and parchment. Later on, she undertook her bachelor degree in European Civilization, at the School of Humanities of the Hellenic Open University and she is currently studying for her master’s degree on in Cultural Policy and Development (MA). She has collaborated with many institutions in Italy, such as the Galleria degli Uffizi, the Palazzo Pitti, the Musei Vaticani, the Biblioteca Laurenziana, the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale, the Archivio di Stato in Florence and the Laboratorio di Restauro Gabinetto Vieusex. In 1997 she began her collaboration with C.I.C.L. (Centre Interregional de Conservation du Livre), where she carried out conservation for the National Library of France, the Archives of Provence, the Principality of Monaco and Mount Athos. She joined the Benaki Museum in 1999 and in 2001 she became head of the conservation department of the Historical Archives, where she remained until 2010. Following that, she worked in the Conservation Department with her primary responsibilities being the conservation of works on paper and their preparation and presentation in exhibitions in Greece and abroad. 

The position of the paper conservator is covered with the adoption of Mrs. Lisa Sardegna and Mr. David Carillo.
